A freight train loaded with locally-made goods such as air conditioners, washing machines, microwave ovens, and electronic products departed from Guangzhou International Port Station. In the past 6 years since its operation, the freight train from and to Guangzhou has made 625 westbound and eastbound trips according to Guangzhou Customs. 58,040TEUs with a total value of 19.732 billion RMB (2.85 billion Euro) of goods have been transported.

This year, service on two new routes have started operation. They are the connection from Guangzhou-Dalang to Mongolia Ulaanbaatar via Erenhot border crossing, and the connection from Guangzhou-Dalang to Laos Vientiane South Station via Yunnan-Mohan border crossing.

At present, the Guangzhou-China freight train has connected more than 30 cities in more than 20 countries and regions in Western Europe, Eastern Europe, West Asia, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia.
