In the case of congestion on traditional routes, unstable transportation time and even political interference, the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor that enters Europe through Turkey is getting attention. More and more freight trains are heading to the transcontinental country.

On November 28, a freight train carrying 100 TEU of cargo departed from Putian Station at Zhengzhou Railway Port. It will travel across the Caspian Sea to Turkey thousands of miles away. This is another new route opened after the China-Europe freight train (Zhengzhou)  runs to Hamburg, Munich, Liège and other routes. It means that the number of overseas destinations linking with Zhengzhou has increased to 11.

The new route of this train is organized by the new operating platform company Zhengzhou Zhongyuan New Silk Road International Multimodal Transport, a subsidiary of Zhengzhou New Silk Road International Port Investment Co., Ltd.
