
A new postal train route to Poland opened on September 16 in Xi’an, the capital city of northwest China’s Shaanxi Province. The first Chang’an China-Europe mail train loaded with international letters and packages departed from Xi’an and is expected to arrive in Malaszewicze, Poland, 12 days later.
Upon the arrival of the train, the mail on board will be transferred to other European countries by Poland Post and then delivered by local couriers. A door-to-door transit time is about 30 days.The launch of the new mail train route will further diversify the Chang’an China-Europe train services. The service provider is Xi’an Free Trade Port Construction and Operation co. ltd.
The launch of this service will provide cross-border e-commerce customers in Xi’an and surrounding areas with more stable international postal transport services.
