
On 21 March, the X8489 China-Europe freight train loaded with electronic products, machinery parts, chemical products and other goods departed from Xi’an International Land Port, heading west to Malaszewicz, Poland, marking the international freight train from Xi’an reached 1,000 trips in 2025, 8 days earlier than the last year.
Since the beginning of this year, the average daily trips of China-Europe freight trains (Xi’an) has exceeded 14, and on average, an international freight train departs or arrives at Xi’an International Land Port every 100 minutes.
Especially after 22 February, the average daily loading at Xi’an International Land Port reached a record high, with the average daily loading of nearly 1,000 cars, which set a new daily loading record for 5 times, and the highest loading in a single day reached 1,366 cars. 26 China-European trains were operated at Xi’an International Land Port on 7 March, which was the highest record of freight train operation in Xi’an on a single day.
To date, Xi’an International Land Port has become the first station in China to have accumulated 26,000 China-Europe freight train trips, opened 18 major transport routes, and increased the number of destinations in Western Europe to 26, thus achieving full coverage of major commodity sources in Europe and Asia and building a “golden corridor” of international trade with low cost, high efficiency and excellent service.
