According to China Railway Group Corporation, from January to August this year, a total of 13,056 trips of China-Europe freight train were operated and 1,399,000 TEUs of cargoes were sent, representing a year-on-year growth of 12% and 11%, respectively, of which 1,653 trips of cargoes were operated and 173,000 TEUs of cargoes were sent in August. Since the beginning of this year, the number of China-EU rail freight trips has exceeded 1,600 for six consecutive months.
