Kazakhstan and Georgia are exploring Middle Corridor projects

The Qazinform News Agency reports that the Chairman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Committee for Investments, Gabidulla Ospankulov, met with the Georgian Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Levan Diasamidze.

According to the press service of the Kazakh MFA, the two sides discussed prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation in the agro-industrial sector, logistics, and tourism during the meeting.

They also explored ways to further expand trade, economic and investment ties, particularly with regard to joint participation in future projects.

Particular attention was given to logistics infrastructure initiatives within the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor), as well as potential projects in agro-industrial cooperation.

Earlier, Qazinform reported that the Kazakh Ambassador to Japan, Yerlan Baudarbek-Kozhatayev, had met with Japan’s Minister of the Environment, Hirotaka Ishihara, to discuss cooperation between the two countries in sustainable development and the introduction of green technologies.
